Trading in securities, futures and options involves substantial risk and can result in the loss of more than your initial capital. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Software, not advice
Dark Logic Algo is a software platform that automates trading rules which you configure. We do not provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing on this website, in the app or in our communications is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.
No guaranteed returns
We do not promise or guarantee profits, income or any particular result. Backtests, simulations, screenshots, interface previews and examples are illustrative. They rely on historical data and assumptions, and they do not guarantee future performance. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
Risks specific to algorithmic trading
- Orders may be delayed, rejected, partially filled or filled at a different price (slippage).
- Internet, device, server, broker API or exchange outages can interrupt or prevent order execution.
- Market volatility, gaps and illiquidity can cause losses beyond your stop-loss or risk settings.
- Strategies that worked in the past may stop working as market conditions change.
- Software can contain errors. Incorrect configuration can result in unintended orders.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, strategy settings, risk limits and capital allocation. You must review your configuration before placing live orders, monitor your account, and comply with the rules of your broker, the exchanges and applicable Indian laws and regulations, including any requirements that apply to algorithmic trading.
Third-party brokers and services
Dark Logic Algo connects to third-party brokers such as Angel One and Upstox through their APIs. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or responsible for those brokers or their services, fees, availability or decisions. Your relationship with your broker is governed by your agreement with them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dark Logic Algo and its team are not liable for any trading loss, loss of profit, or direct or indirect damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software, including losses caused by technical failures, third-party services or market movements. See our Terms & Conditions for more.
